Better End-User Experience and Improved Visibility

Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) was looking to improve end-user support times and have better visibility across the mobile device fleet.

imei Lifecycle and Connect solutions along with the imei Expense module helped achieve a better end-user experience and save costs through more accurate information in users and mobile services.

Endpoints: 5,000+

The challenge for NSLHD has revolved around the increasing technology usage and users putting pressure on their IT team and resulting in not being able to process all end user mobile tickets in a timely manner. One potential solution was to outsource support to drive a better experience for end users internally.

Another challenge was centred on having accurate fleet mobile information on which users have what device and which services they are authorised to use.

Lastly, there was a question mark around the usage of mobile services within the fleet, and concern about the potential for services being paid for but not utilised.

imei implemented Lifecycle and Connect  solutions which includes End user support for MDM management through an Australia-based contact centre, Mobile device allocation and distribution service; and fast support for carrier services such as Adds, Moves and Changes (MACs).

imei has also provided imei Expense Management solution for mobile fleet expense and asset management which provides visibility and control across mobile services, users, usage and cost-centre allocation costs.

Deploying imei Lifecycle – mobile device lifecycle management services – has resulted in improved end-user experience through a faster resolution of support tickets; improved and more accurate mobile device fleet information leading to cost savings and improved information security.
