Operating disparate telephony infrastructure across its medical centre estate was becoming increasingly complex to manage and maintain. This resulted in the organisation’s clinics being susceptible to outages and downtime.
With its legacy infrastructure no longer fit for purpose and the phasing out of copper ISDN services fast approaching, Healius needed to modernise its telephony landscape and move away from using copper fixed line services. To ease complexity, the company sought a standardised solution and one that could scale up or down depending on business needs.
To free Healius’ IT resources from this workload, imei was appointed to design, stage, configure, and deploy connectivity for TIPT across the company’s medical centre estate nationwide. The deployment encompassed 1,200 endpoints over 75 sites across the nation.
