IT Helpdesk Administrator

Weare looking for an IT Helpdesk Administrator to join our Tech & Systems team to assist with the delivery and ongoing support of imei's infrastructure, applications, networks and technology solutions.

About the role

As the IT Helpdesk Administrator you will be the first point of contact for all Information & Communication Technology issues and provide 1st level support related to staff computer hardware & software systems including but not limited to laptops, desktops, applications, tablets, telephones, printers.  You will also have responsibility for maintaining systems documentation including asset registration & knowledge base articles, managing user accessibility, and assisting with project-based installations and configurations. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Provide 1st level support to staff across phone, email & cases 

  • Assist the Systems Administrator with day to day administration tasks across Microsoft 365 and Azure products 

  • Assist the systems analyst with day to day support across internal applications such as Salesforce and internally built apps 

  • Maintain patching and other security related tasks.  

  • Provide technical support on a range of hardware/software installations/configuration, maintenance and support services  

  • Receive, log, and manage requests for support via case management software  

  • Install and commission desktop/laptop systems and routine upgrades  

  • Maintain relevant systems and procedural documentation   

  • Maintaining data storage systems and their availability, networks and security rules. 

  • Administration of users, computers, and groups within Active Directory. 

  • Asset management of devices and software. 

 

Essential Skills

  • Experience in helpdesk support environment 

  • Microsoft365 & Azure Experience highly regarded. 

  • Well organised with the ability to multitask. 

  • 'A' grade customer service. 

  • Capability of root-cause analysis on PC related technical issues 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously 

  • Ability to prioritise and complete tasks in a timely manner 

  • Previous experience operating in an ICT service desk role, with experience in end user computing, Windows 10, Office 365 and Active Directory.
